As a long term JBL user there was no such thing as looking around for a new bt speaker, i knew the charge 5 was my way to go, ive been running jbl equipment for the better half of 6 years now. from various bluetooth headphones and speakers to their home cinema and hifi equipment, this speaker sounds great, can easily fill a park with crystal clear distortion free sound, the app is a real lifesaver because you can adjust the eq, i suggest if you want more of jbls hifi sound bump the bass up 1 step and the treble up 2 and leave the mids at 0, the battery life on this thing is amazing, can last me all day in the shop and chare my iPhone 14 Pro, as far as how big it is, i thought it was a bit smaller based on the pics, it is about the size of a smaller football, and the controls are like usual, very solid feeling and clicky very responsive and high quality(ive owned a lot of jbl stuff but ill list a few)flip 3, go 2 flip 4 charge 3 tune700 studio 530, studio 550p L26 Decade L100 century L52 classic)
